I have a degree in Electronics with Computing and Maths from University of Reading (UoR) and have remained in engineering and computing. In 2016 I undertook a year long course at MIT in digital fabrication and creative design as part of the FabLab movement. I still code and develop computing projects.
Professionally I am a Chartered Engineer CENG, Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS) and Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (FIET)
CENG Chartered Engineers are degree qualified and have gained the highest level of professional competencies through training and monitored professional practice experience. This is a peer reviewed process.
FBCS is conferred to individuals to recognise their outstanding achievements and contributions to Information Technology.
FIET is the highest grade of membership and only awarded to those who have sustained high levels of achievement, for several years.
